Thanks for stopping by my Place and Presence portfolio site. I’m Craig; husband, father, dog partner, higher-ed tech guy, road-trip lover, musician, and, in my spare time, photographer. I strive to capture and authentically share the beauty and goodness that show up in everyday life — the quiet, honest moments that make the world feel real and full of wonder.
This portfolio site is a companion to my blog which can be reached at PlaceAndPresence.com. The name Place and Presence is my effort to describe an intentionality I brought to my photography in early 2026. "Place", of course, is wherever I find myself. "Presence" is striving to be present in the place; absorbing as much of the setting as possible, and capturing its essence in the resulting images.
