Welcome to ImagesByCraig.com.  I am a higher-ed IT professional and self-taught amateur digital photographer/artist/documentarian from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.  Since 2008, I have photographed a wide variety of subjects including high school sports, wildlife, landscapes, travel, and human interest/documentary content.

Photography is personal to me; providing me with the opportunity to escape from my daily routine, slow down, and become more mindful of the world around me and my place in it. I photograph subjects that intrigue and/or inspire me. I create as a part of my ongoing journey of self and life discovery to become a better version of myself and a means of inspiring others to do the same.

I enjoy creating photos that are truly representative of the setting in which I captured them; rendering the final composition in monochrome or color (I'm especially fond of the color of photos and slides from the time when I was a child in the '60s). I also strive to utilize editing options that mimic film editing techniques to create a more traditional look and feel to my work.
